GUIDED FOREST WALKS
Guided nature walks, also known as forest therapy walks, are 2 hour strolls in nature, guided by a certified instructor.
During a forest therapy walk, you are guided through a sequence of invitations to slow down, open up your senses and experience the forest in a way that promotes a reciprocal bond between the participants and the surrounding land.

There are no expectations for what participants should experience.
The invitations are open-ended and everything is welcome. There is no right or wrong way to go on a guided forest walk. Although guided forest walks are led by an instructor, you are encouraged to make the journey your own.
A guided forest walk is not a hike. These slow walks are usually less than a mile and are fit for all ages and physical conditions. While hikes are usually focused on physical activity, guided forest walks are an all-encompassing exercise, and can positively influence your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health.

We offer a lovely indoor space, an expansive outdoor space, and guided forest walks to coordinate perfectly with your visions for the retreat.

Highlights:
• Nine-hour retreat at a beautiful location in nature including hiking trails, a pond, dome style home with hospitality, and a planned day for you to rejuvenate.
• A retreat tote filled with a leather journal, pen, and event t-shirt
• Breakfast, coffee, and tea upon arrival during our welcoming community circle.
• Yoga classes taught by owners of Port Huron Yoga, Jana Schultz and Jeni Vincent, that include guided instruction and hands-on adjustments.
• Guided walking meditation in the beautiful trails led by Owl Pines Owner and Forest Therapy Instructor, Diane Miller.
• Nature shadow box craft including all the supplies for you to leave with a beautiful keepsake.
• Lunch including soup, salad, bread, and dessert.
