ABOUT US
ABOUT OWL PINES
Owl Pines strives to support the earth by bringing people back to their original home: the nature that surrounds them and the earth that grounds them.
The reciprocal relationship between our world and its inhabitants is at the heart of what we do.
We open the door for our guests to breathe in nature in a new way and accept the benefits it has to offer.
The resulting gratitude and admiration reconnects us to our world and inspires us to offer it the same care it offers us.
Additionally, Owl Pines promotes a focus on individual wellness.
For most of our society, busyness has become the norm. The crammed schedules and endless tasks can feel exhausting and suffocating.
Owl Pines aims to provide a release from these pressures to refocus on oneself. While immersed in a guided forest walk or a retreat, each individual has the opportunity to rest, relax, and to feel.

WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR.
MEET YOUR GUIDE
HELLO! MY NAME IS DIANE MILLER.
I am pleased to have the opportunity to give you space and an experience to reconnect with the world around you.
Since I was young, I have always gravitated toward nature. While others skipped rope or played dodgeball, I spent my recess time building nests out of grass clippings. Even as my childhood drifted away and I had children of my own, the pull of nature has remained strong. I care about the environment and am thankful for the way it centers me.

MEET YOUR FOREST
Owl Pines is a private property in Grant Township, Michigan, consisting of 40 acres of forest bliss.
She shared the forest with us on a level that we could understand and appreciate and at the end of the walk I felt relaxed, calm and my spirits were lighter. It felt good.”
