If you're looking for a natural outdoor setting without all the fuss, Owl Pines offers a peaceful spot to say your vows. We've hosted family weddings here (including my own!), and there's something special about getting married surrounded by trees instead of a ballroom. You get great photos, an intimate atmosphere, and a day that feels like yours.

Your Dream Intimate Outdoor Event Space

  • The Venue Space

    Our property provides the setting; you bring everything else! You’ll have access to our wooded grounds for your ceremony and photos. The natural backdrop does most of the decorating for you — tall trees, dappled light, and the Michigan woodland feel at Owl Pines photograph beautifully in any season.

  • The Experience

    The space works beautifully for small guest lists and couples who want something genuine and low-key. It’s an intimate, peaceful environment designed to let nature shine.

  • What's Included?

    You’ll have exclusive access to the outdoor space, but we don’t provide event coordination, setup, or decor.

    Please note that this isn’t a full-service venue.

  • What You'll Handle

    You’ll need to take care of your own setup, officiant, seating, and any other personal touches. It’s perfect for couples who want simplicity, flexibility, or are working with a smaller budget without sacrificing beauty on their big day.

Transparent Wedding Venue Pricing that Makes Sense

Base rate: $750 for ceremonies up to 30 guests


Your final cost depends on a few factors:

  • Whether you'll be serving alcohol

  • Length of rental time

  • Any special insurance needs

Once you reach out, we'll talk through the details of your day and give you an exact quote. Most couples find our pricing refreshingly straightforward—no hidden fees or surprise charges!

Questions We Hear Most

  • We host ceremonies for up to 30 guests comfortably. This size keeps things intimate and makes the space feel just right.

  • In case of rain, there is a pole barn on site that can seat 30 guests comfortably. If you would rather reschedule, that is an option too!

  • Yes! You can have your reception here too :) The pole barn is ready to be decorated and there are places that will deliver rental tables right to the door. 

  • The rental fee includes:

    • Access to the property the afternoon before and the whole day of the event.

    • An Owl Pines representative to assist you every step of the way as you plan your day.

    • Access to the lower level of the house which includes a kitchen area, full  bathroom and two rooms where guests can relax inside if they choose. 

    • A large pole barn that can be used as a reception area and/or for the ceremony if it is raining that day. 

    • A spacious backyard area along with acres of wooded trails. 

    • Full coffee and Tea service for you and your guests

    • A Variety of Kitchen Supplies  

    • Very basic tables and chairs/Tablecloths/Flower Garland/Stemware

    What you need to provide:

    • Officiant

    • Any food to be served at the reception

    • Beverages

    • Seating for the Ceremony

    • Tables and Chairs (if upgrading from basic)

    • Decorations 

  • You will need to book your wedding/reception at least six weeks in advance. 

    Although Owl Pines is open for weddings all year round, during the winter months, we can only accommodate group sizes up to 15 guests. 

    Booking Process- After we connect through the website, we will set up an appointment so you can come out to see the venue and the surrounding land. :)

    From there, you can take some time to decide if you would like to have your wedding here. This is a no-pressure place from start to finish.
